As luck would have it our furnace needed replaced right before the winter storm arrived. Shaffer Heating and Cooling was able to get our furnace installed before the cold weather hit. This was a direct result of the dedicated and professional work conducted by the lead technician-Johnny. He stayed late and offered information about the work he completed and what he would be doing next. Both technicians on the job were courteous and friendly. I can't say enough about the quality of work provided. I feel very confident in the service and checkups that will be continued.Very happy we chose Shaffer Heating & Cooling and would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a heating/cooling system.

Pros: Technicians are wonderful, experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. Prices are also reasonable, more so with the maintenance package. Good emergency service.
Cons: They don't do warranty work. The scheduling was off both times I used them, and they don't send email confirmation until the day before service, so it caused some confusion. (1 time was told wrong day of the week, and 1 time rep scheduled for PM instead of AM but technician caught it.)

They showed up Monday morning and had the complete system installed by Tuesday afternoon. Both Robert and Corey (I think) were very professional and let me know what was going on. The actual installation looks so professional with everything in its place. I do highly recommend!!!
Very impressed with Shafer. I bought an older home and wanted a ductless system for ease of climate control throughout the house. Contacted two other local companies and never heard back with an estimate even though I called several times. Called Shafer and they sent someone out that day and had my estimate and financial funding options ready to go after a comprehensive assessment of my needs. They were able to do the install very soon after the assessment so I had heat before the temps dropped.
The installers were very friendly and professional and did a great job of working around my cats and other contractors also working at that time.
Would highly recommend, and have every time someone asks me about heating/HVAC companies, and will use again for future heating/AC projects.
They did a great job on the install the guys were friendly and helpful.
We are very happy with our new system.
It saves us $50 to $100 a month on electric bill over the base board heat.
Only complaint was clean up , the guys didn't put down tarps to catch their mess and didn't clean up after themselves as good as they should have
I did property maintenance and fire, water damage and we always had to make it like we were never there when we're done .
But thanks for the good job and I recommend you guys to my family and other people that ask about our system.
