Cody, Cody and Rob were fantastic! Arrived on time and replaced my furnace in record time! They thoroughly explained how everything worked and made sure I was completely satisfied before they left.
Tyler, Lane, and Kenzie were so great!! They came to my house on time and cleaned my HVAC ducts and vents and sanitized so well! We just bought a new house that was previously owned by a smoker and boy did the cleaning make a difference. I am also picky about dirty shoes in the house, and they were so thoughtful and wore shoe covers right away. 10/10 service would recommend.
We found ourselves needing to get a new furnace. We had a technician out on Friday. He quickly found the issue and, after checking, determined the parts were no longer available. He set us up to have someone out on Monday to determine what we would need and to give us a price and time estimate. The new furnace was installed the next day. The crew that did the install were very courteous and professional. They explained everything they did and checked to make sure it performed properly. They made sure that we knew what changes were made and answered any questions. To go from no heat to a brand new unit could be a very stressful experience, but they made it very easy. Would recommend Shafer to anyone needing service, repair, replacement or needing recommendations for who to go to for a reputable company.
I had a total system installation. Tyler and Cory were my main installers and they were a very professional, kind, and respectful. They did a great job and were very helpful with any questions I had. I would 100% chose Shafer over anyone else. Very grateful for all there help with my comfort needs!
Have done business with this company since 2016, when they installed my geothermal. As usual, the guys today were on time, courteous, professional, and knew their jobs well. I trust them completely, based on our history. It is rare anymore, it seems, to find people who do a good job and take pride in their work consistently. This company is a gem, don't hesitate to trust them with your home!
We had our 6 month maintenance check today. Robbie was our technician and he was great, just as he was when he came last September. We were very satisfied with his timeliness, efficiency and knowledge. Keep us the good work Shaffer and staff. We highly recommend them. They are a great company!
Excellent service all around from the Shafer team!!! We had somewhat of a difficult job due to our old furnace/AC not properly sized for our home and the ducts/vents not designed well. Our techs Lance and Tyler did a phenomenal job. Great work ethic…Extremely professional…and very informative while installing our new systems. Tommy was on point coordinating everything properly.

We have a historic house which presented unique challenges, but the staff was willing to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions. My wife and I used Shafer to install an entire HVAC system for our new build. We decided to use Shafer as they are the local rep for Hydron Geothermal systems and our initial meeting with them went smoothly. They have been great from the start of the project and all the way through. They are detailed, organized and they have the most courteous, friendly and professional workers in all aspects of their business. That does not happen by chance as Ron (owner) does a great job hiring and training the right employees and the employees work hard and do a great job (Thanks Cody and team!). On top of that they build a great system and with air quality such an important feature in the home we went with steam humidification, separate dehumidification, UV purification and multi zone control so we can adjust the upstairs and downstairs individually. The GEO is a great investment with a big government tax break right now and the cost of power going up. The payback over gas was very short and there is added savings as the GEO pre heats the water for the water heater to save on costs there. Overall, really happy with the system and Shafer and highly recommend them for HVAC work and especially GEO systems. We also signed up for the long term maintenance program. This is a good deal for what you get and makes sure the system is maintained annually as well as priority for any emergency repairs and discounts on parts and filters. Thanks Ron and Shafer Heating and Cooling for putting in a great system and being one of the best contractors on our new build!
