Important Heating Tips for Snowstorms:

With heavy snow and ice, we recommend running your Emergency Heat during the storm.

Heat pumps struggle to keep up in these conditions as they frequently enter defrost mode.

Cover your heat pump to prevent snow and ice buildup on the fan blades and inside the unit.

Once the storm passes, uncover your heat pump and switch back to normal heat.
